I don't have many senior or college graduate portrait sessions due to families booking me more but this was a nice change of pace. I had to think through poses and shots to make the session enjoyable and celebratory of the achievement of Tatiana's life at this moment.
She graduated from medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences and wanted to have professional portraits to mark this occasion. All those sleepless nights, studying, hard work, and clinicals have paid off.
I loved that her boyfriend decided to join the session and take a few portraits with her. Having your support system and being able to celebrate with them makes accomplishments that much sweeter. Bringing friends and family to senior and college grad sessions adds to the experience and is highly recommended!
I wanted to give all of those graduating in 2023 a shout-out for all the hard work you put into this moment. Enjoy it!
If you know someone who is graduating this year and wasn't able to take portraits before graduation, it's not too late. You can email me at hello@biancajophotography.com or DM me on IG @biancajophotography for more details!
