Aliso Beach Family Portraits

Updated: Feb 10, 2023

I just love family portraits. Growing up I always loved looking at photographs of my family and it's now my passion to provide that for my clients.

The Ariniello family was on vacation from Colorado and had to have a California beach session. For the littles, it was their first time seeing the ocean. Aliso beach has some pretty big waves that can be surprising to native Californians and it was a bit of a shock to the little ones.

The only time that worked for our session was 10 am and the fact that it was cloudy made it so different from the sunset sessions.

I was so happy to have grandma and grandpa join in. I will have a blog about the reason why having grandparents in your portraits is a plus in the next coming months.

Family portrait at Aliso Creek

Swinging photos are always a hit with the kiddos!

He had so much energy and it was great to use it to get great images.

Since it was the little's first time at the beach, the youngest was scared of the waves but his big brother comforted him and soon he was smiling again!

Loved all the natural 'brothers being brothers.' I was just here to capture it!

One of my favorite things to do during family portraits is to have the adults sit closer to me, get them framed, then have the littles run up from behind and give them a big hug.

It was a beautiful day. The one awesome thing about Aliso Beach is that there is a restaurant on the beach. The Lost Pier Cafe is a great place to have breakfast and lunch before or after your morning photo session.
